  3. 'Tis only a flower I hold in my hand
  4. Its beauty contained in its petals so sweet
  5. Possessing a fragrance only roses demand
  6. So that beauty and fragrance will equally meet.
  7. 'Tis brimming with dewdrops from the early morn
  8. Glistening beneath the rise of the sun
  9. Gleaming petals of crimson red, newly born
  10. The combination of beauty equally done.
  11. For what could be more lovely than the two of these
  12. The radiant brilliance of the two combined...
  13. A creation of God for our hearts to see
  14. To make a lasting impression of beauty in mind.
  15. Yes, the elegance of a sunrise reflected in a rose
  16. Leaves a beautiful memory on whom all it bestows.
